Happy Tuesday Art Lovers!

So glad to have you back again! Grab a cup of coffee or tea & sit a while….let’s chat!

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect in our area & we spent most of the weekend outside enjoying the sunshine, the perfect temperatures in the mid & upper 70’s as well as all the other beauty Mother Nature decided to bless us with. Easter egg hunt, bike rides & lots of laughter were a part of this beautiful weekend & my husband boiled some yummy crawfish on Easter Sunday for us to stuff our bellies with. Then yesterday (Monday) I spent most of the day outside working in my yard & tending to my gardens.

Today I am back in the art studio, working on my ongoing projects, the ones I spoke about in last weeks blog. I have all the windows open, so I can enjoy the sunshine while I sit at my desk & work. I do catch myself looking out of the window daydreaming from time to time, but I feel like this is an important part of my work process & creating art. Daydreams can spawn happiness & inspiration. That inspiration usually spawns creative ideas & those creative ideas grow into my art projects or help bring Life to my current projects. So never underestimate the power of a good daydream…..let your mind wander from time to time while you work…

In the middle of daydreaming, I am still working (no really, I am!) on the new listings for my Etsy shop. I hope to have them finished by tomorrow & posted for you by Thursday of this week. I will definitely have them ready by Friday at the latest. I will let you know in a quick little blog when they drop & become available in the shop! While you are waiting for this new merch to become available, you can visit my shop & see what is currently available: http://www.etsy.com/shop/GeminiPearl . It is taking me a little longer than I hoped to get all of these listings created, Etsy listings can be so time consuming to put together & along with working on my Etsy shop I am hoping that very soon I can make it possible for you to buy my artwork directly from my website with just the click of a button. My goal is to make it very easy for you to come to my website, stay a while to leisurely look around & if you see something that you love, to have the ability buy it directly from my site & not have to redirect to Etsy.

This week I also have more Art O Mat mini mandalas on my desk to be painted. I am hoping to have 100 of these completed in the next week or so to ship off to the Art O Mat headquarters for distribution in their vending machines (see the Art O Mat section on my website for more info on this ongoing project).

So what have all of you been up to? I would love to hear what is going on in your life, what kind of art projects you have on your drawing boards or art tables. There is a comment section on this blog that will allow you to post & communicate with me & I would love to hear what you’ve got going on creatively. Feel free to ask any questions you have, as well as any suggestions on what you’d like to see in my future blog posts. My hope is to grow this blog into something both you & I look forward to each week with a positive place to come & share as well as learn from one another about all things art. So let me know your feedback, questions, what you have going on in your art studio…..let’s talk all things art!

I hope you have an amazing week & until next time feel free to check out my social media accounts as well as my website: http://www.facebook.com/gemini.pearl.142 Insta: @geminipearl73 http://www.geminipearl.com and I will let all you art lovers know in a couple of days when my merchandise becomes available in my Etsy!

Peace, Love and all things Art,

Gemini Pearl
